Basically the Microcomputer PlugIn is a digital synthesizer with
subtractive synthesis.It has 2 oscillators with 10 digital
single shot waveforms which are not bandlimited and not
antialiased.These Oscillators has two rampgenerators instead of
envelopes, 1 for pitch and one for the amplitude. The pitchramp
sweeps from high to low frequency, the amplitude ramp can be
switched between decay (loud to silence) or attack (silence to
loud). Oscillator 2 can be hard synced to 1, try this with
pitchmodulated by the rampgenerators.
Included is a ringmodulator too. When the ringmodulator is
activated, both oscillators need to be active/loud. While
ringmodulation or when oscillators are routed through the
filter, the panoramasettings are lost. The oscillators can be
routed direct to the output according their panorama and
volumesettings, or going through the digital morphfilter. This
filter let you choose between 10 predefined filtertype settings.
You can morph between two settings by a fixed offset or a ramp
generator.
